KC Zoo

In the middle of a bunch of rain filled days...we got one great day for the zoo. Derek, Val and Em are spending Easter weekend with us here in KC.

T0 be honest...we really were pretty un-impressed with the zoo. We expected to see a lot more animals than we did. The polar bear is the main attraction of course...and he didn't disappoint!

The boys could have watched him swim for hours.

This is pretty much how it went...Val and Cade reading up a little on the animal (or bird), Ri just checking it out, Bran and Derek saying totally off-color things like "that one would look great on the dinner table" and Boston...texting.
The little guys favorite part.



Boston was sooooo patient with little Em. She wanted to push her stroller...he was totally willing to walk along with her...at a snails pace. All the boys are such sweet cousins.

Did you know a polar bear can stand 10 feet tall!

After the zoo we hit Mi Ranchito and then the boys and dad went to swim at the hotel. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, spending it with people we love will make it that much more precious! He is Risen!
